Sync with Google Calendar

4 min read Updated October 16, 2026

Connect mePro to your Google Calendar so everything is in one place. Your Google events can show on your Pro Calendar and stop clients booking over them, and your mePro appointments can appear in Google Calendar. Synced calendars stay private and aren’t visible to other team members. New appointments, and changes to existing ones, must still be made in mePro.

Note: All clients, names, emails, appointments and other data shown in the screenshots are sample data we created for this guide. They are not real people or real records.

When to use this

  • You keep personal or work events in Google Calendar and don’t want clients to book over them.
  • You want your mePro appointments, with their video links, to show in Google Calendar.

Connect Google Calendar

1. In Pro Calendar, click the calendar icon next to Week at the top right.

The Sync calendar window opens.

Click the calendar icon next to Week.

2. Read the note in the blue box, then click Sign In With Google.

The note reminds you that on Google’s permission screen you must tick View and edit events on all your calendars. mePro uses this to show your Google events and add your appointments to Google Calendar.

You must tick View and edit events on all your calendars on Google’s permission screen. If you don’t tick it, mePro can’t connect to your Google Calendar.

Click Sign In With Google.

3. Choose your Google account and click Continue.

Google shows Sign in to MePro AI and the information mePro will be able to see: your name, profile picture and email address.

Choose your Google account, then Continue.

4. On MePro AI wants access to your Google Account, tick View and edit events on all your calendars, then click Continue.

This step is very important. The box is not ticked by default, so make sure you tick it before you click Continue. Without it, the connection won’t work.

Tick View and edit events on all your calendars.

Don’t skip this box. If View and edit events on all your calendars isn’t ticked, mePro can’t connect.

5. Wait while mePro connects.

You’ll see Connecting to Google Calendar – Please wait while we set up the connection… for a moment.

6. Check your sync options.

The Sync calendar window opens again and shows Connected as with your Google email, and three options:

Google Calendar → mePro (Sync Google Calendar to mePro) and mePro → Google Calendar (Sync mePro appointments to Google Calendar) are turned on by default.

Availability (Use Google Calendar events to block my availability) is not turned on by default. It’s optional. If you want your Google events to stop clients booking those times, click its switch to turn it on.

Each time you change an option, a Sync preferences updated message appears.

Two options are on by default. Turn on Availability if you want Google events to block bookings.
All three options turned on.

7. Check your Pro Calendar.

Your Google events now appear on your Pro Calendar. For example, the Trauma-Informed Care Workshop on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in Google Calendar now shows in the same slot on your Pro Calendar.

With Use Google Calendar events to block my availability turned on, that time is no longer part of your availability, so clients can’t book 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday.

What you’ll see

Your Google events on Pro Calendar

Google events appear on your Pro Calendar as pale yellow blocks with their title and time. For example, a Trauma-Informed Care Workshop from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in Google Calendar shows in the same slot in mePro.

Your connected account is listed under Synced calendars, below Booking Link. Untick it to hide your Google events from the calendar, and tick it again to show them.

Click a synced event to see its details: Synced calendar from your Google account, the date and time, how long it is and the time zone. To change a synced event, edit it in Google Calendar.

Your mePro appointments in Google Calendar

With Sync mePro appointments to Google Calendar on, each appointment you book in mePro also appears in Google Calendar. It shows the client’s name and service, for example Alex Test | Initial assessment, with the start time and the link to the video session.

Blocked times on your booking link

With Use Google Calendar events to block my availability on, clients can’t book over your Google events. In this example, Sunday is set as available, but the workshop from 1:00 to 3:00 PM is in Google Calendar. On the booking page, the first time offered after the workshop is 03:00 PM, and 1:00 to 3:00 PM isn’t offered.

Sunday is available, with the synced workshop from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
Clients only see times outside the workshop.

Disconnect Google Calendar

Click the calendar icon next to Week to open Sync calendar, then click Disconnect Google Calendar.
